Since Prom is coming up very soon, I try to eat healthier. You can call it a diet but I think it's more of a lifestyle.
It has been two years since I really started to change my eating habits. I used to eat chips everyday for lunch,as a snack,as a midnight snack or/and in the morning. So basically chips 24/7. It was like my favourite thing to eat. I knew that it would cause me pimples but at first I didn't get a lot, just a few on a chin or so. But then with puberty and hormones, I started to get a lot of pimples on my face. It was like a harvest of strawberries haha.
I felt very insecure about it because people would constantly tell me "Omg what's with your face, you have so much pimples" or " why do you have so many pimples?" or else they would look at my face and just stare. I didn't know how to react, I mean it's not like I chose to have pimples.
I had pimples all over my face. At first I started getting a few on my forehead which I thought it was normal...and then some on my cheeks which I never had before. I went to do a facial at a spa but it got worse and it left me with a lot of acne scars all over my face.
I thought it would fade away in a week or so but I was wrong, even now the acne scars are still there. I got sick of it and did a lot of research on what causes pimples and learned a lot about how to prevent from having pimples. The most common advices was to drink water, eat less junk food and exercising helps too.
here a picture of my acne scars.
I would put bb cream on my face to hide it but I guess it wasn't the best choice because the shade didn't match my skintone at all. It was way to light for me. Also, I would always edit my pictures...to hide my pimples. BAM SECRET REVEALED. jks.

So I changed my eating habits.
1) to not eat any junk food or chips
2) reduce my portion of rice(that doesn't cause pimples but it was part of my regimen)
3) drink alot more water ( I drink more than 4 bottles of water per day )
It might sound easy but I didn't change my whole habit overnight. It took me a while to get used to it since chips were like my best friend...their crunchiness and taste.....yumz and my mom would always buy a box of chips...so it was hard for me. But now I got used to it and it doesn't affect me much seeing someone eating chips. or french fries.
Also, there is this product who really helped with my skin.
It might dry out your skin a little bit but it made my pimples less bumpy.
Results...
Yes it did improve my skin. These days, I get a lot of compliments about how my skin improved.(not trying to vent or something) but I am really glad. Sincerely.
